Breakdown of Your Credit Report

What Makes Up Your Credit Report

Last week I wrote an article for one of the companies I work with, Forever Young Credit Repair.  As Jayson and I grow this business I’ve learn that a lot of people think their credit report is simply if they pay their bills on time.  While that is the largest portion of your credit report.  Your ability to pay on time only makes up 35% of your credit report.

The 5 sections that make up your credit report are:

  • Payment History (35%)
  • Credit Utilization (30%)
  • Length of Credit History (15%)
  • New Credit (10%)
  • Credit Mix (10%)

If understanding what your credit report it made of is important to you (which it should be) check out the article I wrote.
